Towel and terry digitising
Towels are pile fabric. Without a knockdown layer the loops push up through the design and the outline disappears into the fluff.

Knockdown first
The fix for terry is a knockdown stitch: a light, wide fill that flattens the pile before the real design sews on top of it. We build it into the file as its own colour block, so your operator can run it in the background thread or in a matching shade, whichever they prefer. Skipping it is why so many hotel and spa towel jobs look fuzzy around the edges.
Density up, detail down
Pile eats stitches. We push density above what the same design would need on a woven, drop anything under about 6mm of text, and thicken thin strokes so they survive. If the logo has fine linework we tell you which parts to lose rather than deliver something that sews as mush.
What lands in your inbox
